Who are we?
"Madrid in the palm of your hand" was born from the idea that people can discover the best of our city, in a special way, fun and effective.
The professionals that make up our team are lovers of Madrid, we love our city explain to visitors who need it.

Some professionals of our Team
Álvaro:
Born in Madrid, he has always lived in this city. He is 30 years old and he worked as a tour guide of Madrid over 5 years. He also worked as a professor of Spanish Language and Literature and Professor of History, Philosophy and Art. He holds a degree in History, with a Masters in Contemporary History from the Complutense University of Madrid. His hobbies are reading, cinema (especially gangster films and Woody Allen), music (Joaquín Sabina and Serrat, mainly), stroll through Madrid and play sports (football, basketball, running, cycling, swimming...). He teaches and carries out guided tours in Spanish and he organizes the general contents of the routes and itineraries tours.
Sonia:
Born in León, she has lived four years in Madrid. She is 28 years old and has worked as a tour guide in Madrid and León over 5 years. She also has worked as a history and art teacher. She holds a degree in Art History with a master´s degree in Spanish Art History. She is interested in giving back to women their place in history. Her hobbies are traveling, Reading and music. She performs guided visits in Spanish.
Jorge:
Born in Madrid. He is 32 years old and he has worked as a tour guide and history teacher in Madrid. He holds a degree in History from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a technical degree in tourism from the Escuela Superior de Hostelería y Turismo de Madrid. He has travelled many countries (Ireland, Argentina, Croatia, France, Belgium…) and performs guided visits in Spanish and English. His hobbies are traveling, reading, music and sports.
Jani:
He has lived and traveled many countries (Greece, Italy, UK, USA) and since 2005 he live in Madrid. He worked in prestigious hotels in different countries. He holds the degree Technician in Tourism from the Official School of Hospitality and Tourism of Madrid. He is fluent in Spanish, English, Greek and Italian, and has great knowledge of the history of Spain and Madrid. It will perform guided visits English and Greek. His main hobby is football and especially Real Madrid, which is a big fan.
